Incredible Talking Heads Tribute

A "Once in a Lifetime" Experience

Why you should see this show…

If David Byrne is one of the geniuses of modern times, then Start Making Sense is a tribute to genius. The musicians in this 7-10 piece Talking Heads Tribute take pride in faithfully recreating the music of Talking Heads entire career.

Start Making Sense Bio
Start Making Sense is Jon Braun: Lead Vocals/Guitar, Jon Fadem: Guitar/Vocals, Tim Leslie: Percussion/Vocals, Jesse Braun: Drums, Mike Davidson: Bass, Alex Ayala: Keyboards, Kathy Weber: Vocals, and Jenny Founds: Vocals. Together they bring much of the Heads unique live show to the stage, with front man Jon Braun as a spot-on David Byrne, giving you a “once in a lifetime” experience. Prepare yourself for a rockin’, funkin’, danceable celebration of the new-wave art punk you loved from the ’80s!!!

Ruby Dear Bio
After spending her youth developing her craft as a singer/multi instrumentalist touring with the likes of Jon Anderson (Yes), Gibby Haynes (Butthole Surfers), Napoleon Murphy Brock (Frank Zappa), and Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction), Jenny Founds joined Start Making Sense: A Tribute to Talking Heads and discovered the perfect musicians to join forces with, the brother duo of Jon & Jesse Braun (of Start Making Sense, Insidious Rays, & Great White Caps). After playing together for years on the road paying tribute to some incredible music, these seasoned musicians have crafted original material that is loud and evolving.

“Compared with the ’90s sound of Jeff Buckley, classic rock and even David Bowie, Ruby Dear combines the interests of its members into something as fresh as it is familiar.” ~ Lehigh Valley Style

Ruby Dear is Jesse Braun, bass; Jon Braun, drums & vocals; Jenny Founds, guitar & vocals
