Raymond Arthur Flanagan Bio
In a climate of singers, songwriters, and guitar players, Ray Flanagan is an artist. Balancing a soul of thoughtfulness and gut intuition, he weaves together images of love, justice, and depth perception. Or the absence of these things. From valley lows to the top of the world, Flanagan’s songs show a range and a commitment to the history of craft that is, daily, being muddled by illusionists and proprietors of strict aesthetics, void of weight and meaning. His music is reflective of his own observations off of the world, set in, around, or completely outside of his own life. A firm believer in the philosophy of his friend and teacher Roger Hoover’s New Song Movement, Ray Flanagan is cause for a next, uncharted step ahead in the narrative of American music.
Rebekah Jean Bio
Rebekah Jean is an original songwriter, born in Lake County, Ohio, 1985. She cut her professional musician teeth playing in a couple of touring bands during and after college, finally releasing her first solo album of original songs in January 2012. During 2012 and 2013 Rebekah Jean joined forces with the nationally-touring David Mayfield Parade as their full-time harmony singer and multi-instrumentalist. In addition to co-managing the band, Rebekah Jean also worked on production of DMP’s second full-length album, “Good Man Down.” Personal and artistic differences forced Rebekah to part ways with Mayfield in late summer 2013, when she returned her attention to songwriting. Since that time, Rebekah Jean has composed a wealth of new material and garnered a host of fans in her home Northeast Ohio as well as regionally. In addition to plotting her second album of original songs, her current pet project is co-fronting Classic Country outfit “Duchess.”
Austin Stambaugh Bio
A raw vocal and gifted multi-instrumentalist, Austin Stambaugh is convicted as a dash of humor. His debut EP Blood In My Mouth -described as a grassroots compilation of imprecise soul and raw honesty- was released in the spring of 2016 on the artist’s website and has had good airplay on Cleveland college radio. His songs tell the human condition and shadow his bible-belt ancestry. As a child, Austin was brought up listening to his family’s gospel quartet. Austin is a published poet, accomplished songwriter, and is looking to connect with listeners and share the human experience through song.
