Country/Tex Mex/Southern Rock/Swing Mix

Originals & Country Covers

Why you should see this show…

Gringo Stew is a wholesome and hearty blend of rich traditional American roots and regional flavors. Well-seasoned musicians combine a dash of sweet bluegrass fiddle, a dollop of smoky honky tonk piano, a satisfying slice of whiskey-soaked country harmony, a sizzling portion of blues-rock guitar, and a pinch of spicy Tex-Mex accordion, all offered up on a bed of crisp drums and chunky bass, and occasionally topped with some smooth, rich pedal steel. Gringo Stew is best served hot, accompanied by a cold beverage and shared with friends who have a taste for musical home cookin’ and a thirst for fun.

Gringo Stew Bio
Gringo Stew is a Country/Tex Mex/Southern Rock/Swing band made up of 6 seasoned performers. In addition to traditional rock band instrumentation, the band members play the fiddle, steel guitar, and sax—hence the stew of styles that make up the band’s signature sound. The band plays originals and covers the music of a wide variety of artists—from The Mavericks to George Strait, Charlie Daniels to Bob Wills—and all points of Country music in between. Gringo Stew has cultivated a following on both sides of the Cuyahoga.
