Fresh Finds Concert Series:

The goal of this new monthly concert series is to shine the spotlight on rising talent that we think you should know about. The bands featured during this series are all at different stages in their musical journey- some are just getting started with the local buzz while others are multiple albums deep. However they’re approaching making music, from indie rock to r&b, folk, blues, or punk, each of these bands should be on your radar in 2019.

Front Porch Lights Bio
Front Porch Lights is an indie rock 5-piece from Cleveland, OH. The band weaves airy, folk influences with the grit of their Rust Belt roots to create a listener experience both lively and emotional. Frontman Conor Standish’s poignant vocals and penetrative lyricism invoke a striking nostalgia, which The Wild Honey Pie described as “the kind of mid-tempo Americana that we’ve been sorely missing.”

Mixing alt-pop, indie-rock, and a splash of groove, Cleveland, Ohio’s BEACHWEEK serves up a fun-filled tidal wave of skillfully infectious music. Currently finishing their inaugural album, BEACHWEEK is excited to announce the release of their first single, “Sharpshooter.” With a fresh yet familiar sound, “Sharpshooter” takes listeners on a guitar and synth driven pop-rock journey to have fun, let go, and just be yourself.

While officially starting in 2019, BEACHWEEK’s members are no strangers to the music scene, with Lead Vocalist and Keyboardist Chayla Hope (Seafair), Guitarist and Vocalist George Chase (Bare Essentials), Guitarist and Vocalist Britton Roberts (State Fair and Darklighter), and Bassist Daniel Lee and Drummer Stephen Nicholson, who have played together for 18 years in bands such as This Is a Shakedown, Ragers, and Leah Lou & the Two Left Shoes.

Although this is the group’s first project together, their collective energy and talent has created a musical force. Come join the party and let the BEACHWEEK undertow pull you in!
