    Story topic this week…

    The Beatles in Cleveland
The Beatles In Cleveland brings to life two of the wildest, out of control concerts in Beatles – and rock – history. Follow the behind the scenes dealings that brought John, Paul, George, and Ringo to Cleveland. Dave Schwensen tells the story through rare, never-before published photos, video stills, memorabilia, and eyewitness accounts. As John Lennon once said, “You had to be there.” Well, Dave Schwensen has created the nearest thing to actually witnessing these two legendary shows in Cleveland.

    Dave Schwensen Bio

Dave Schwensen is the author of The Beatles In Cleveland: Memories, Facts & Photos About The Notorious 1964 & 1966 Concerts. As a north coast teenager he witnessed the excitement when the Beatles visited Cleveland and quite frankly, has never gotten over it. A former television talent coordinator in New York and Los Angeles and nationally recognized comedy coach for The Improv Comedy Clubs, he has designed and instructed courses in communications and presentation skills for schools, universities and corporate events. Yes, he really can be called The Nutty Professor. Dave is also the author of The Beatles At Shea Stadium and How To Be A Working Comic.
The goal of the Cleveland Stories Dinner Party is to bring to life some of the fun, interesting stories about Cleveland’s past – from sports, to rock ‘n roll, to Millionaire’s Row, — the series will focus on tidbits from Cleveland’s past that will really thrill the audience. The Music Box is presenting this series in partnership with the Western Reserve Historical Society’s new Cleveland History Center. We think the Cleveland History Center is one of the most important museums in Cleveland. An unknown gem that Clevelanders should know more about, and support. It is the only museum in Cleveland dedicated to preserving and documenting the history of Cleveland. The Cleveland History Center includes two mansions, the Crawford Auto Aviation Museum, Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, Research Library, Kidzibits Hands-On Gallery, rotating exhibitions, and the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel.
