Why you should see this show…

If people are looking for an American Idol revue show, this is not it. Instead Crystal Bowersox music is a combination of blues, folk, Americana and rock. Once known for her solo shows, Bowersox is now playing with a full band behind her for what promises to be a harder rocking Americana show.

Crystal Bowersox Bio
Crystal Bowersox first caught the ear of America when she appeared on Season 9 of American Idol and came in second place, thanks to her interpretations of songs by Tracy Chapman and Janis Joplin. Since that introduction, the native of Elliston, Ohio, has continued to wow audiences with her rich, powerful voice—a gospel-tinged, soul-worn instrument that conjures everyone from Joe Cocker to Miranda Lambert. As 2013’s All That For This demonstrates, Bowersox has also matured into a rather fine songwriter; the record’s country-folk and bluesy soul-pop tunes are full of lovely, emotionally resonant details. With an appearance on Broadway as Patsy Cline slated in the future and plenty of touring on the books, Bowersox is poised to have a long, fulfilling career.
Nick Zuber Bio
Since leaving college, to pursue music full time, Nick Zuber has had the opportunity to work with many major label recording artist including Eric Church, Blessid Union of Soul, Rooney, Matt White, Zee Avi, and Ryan Star. Nick Zuber was also given the opportunity to tour with EPIC Records recording artist Howie Day in 2009 and 2011.
