    Hi Everyone,

We are excited to be reopening the Music Box. We plan to continue our storyteller series this summer, but we are moving it to Thursday nights.

We are also making another change. We need to spread out our guests for appropriate social distancing. So, seating will be limited. We are asking people to purchase a $5 food & beverage voucher to confirm a seat. This voucher will be good on this night only. A little ‘skin in the game,’ so people are more likely to show up and enjoy the night. We won’t have seats go unused.

We will be strictly adhering to all the guidelines issued by the State of Ohio. So, you can be assured we are doing these safely.

    Mike Miller

P.S. Please be sure to still make a dining reservation in Open Table.

In accordance with Ohio regulations, congregating is not permitted, so plan to enjoy the show from your seat. Table reservations are required, and our host will seat you at least 6’ from the next table.

We kindly request guests depart immediately following the presentation. Feel free to visit outdoors, with other patrons, following distancing guidelines.

Doors open at 5:00pm, with the storytelling beginning promptly at 7:00pm

History of CLE’s Best Music Venues
4x winner of Cleveland Magazine’s Best Live Music Venue, the Music Box is excited to welcome Deanna Adams and Mike Olszewski to talk about the history of Cleveland’s many great venues and memorable concerts!

Mike Olszewski Bio

SmokySweatyRowdyLoudMike Olszewski is a veteran Cleveland TV and radio reporter who has won many local and national journalism awards. A local broadcast-history buff, he scored the famous last interview with Ernie Anderson, Ghoulardi himself. Mike (and Janice) Olszewski are authors of the recently published Smoky, Sweaty, Rowdy and Loud: Tales of Cleveland’s Legendary Rock and Roll Landmarks.

The goal of the Cleveland Stories Dinner Party is to bring to life some of the fun, interesting stories about Cleveland’s past – from sports, to rock ‘n roll, to Millionaire’s Row, — the series will focus on tidbits from Cleveland’s past that will really thrill the audience. The Music Box is presenting this series in partnership with the Western Reserve Historical Society’s new Cleveland History Center. We think the Cleveland History Center is one of the most important museums in Cleveland. An unknown gem that Clevelanders should know more about, and support. It is the only museum in Cleveland dedicated to preserving and documenting the history of Cleveland. The Cleveland History Center includes two mansions, the Crawford Auto Aviation Museum, Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, Research Library, Kidzibits Hands-On Gallery, rotating exhibitions, and the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel.
